New Arri Cameras

Red aren’t the only company at IBC pushing their new products. Arri have announced 3 new digital cameras that will launch at various intervals next year. Called the A-EV, A-EV+ and A-OV+ these 3.5k resolution cameras (in RAW mode, output is either HD or 2K for DI) boast a base sensitivity of 800 asa, 12.1 stops of dynamic range and 1-60fps.

Weight is around 7lbs and prices start at €50,000. They are due to start shipping from June to December next year. As early users of the Arri D-20 (the camera that first introduced us to Digital Cinema Cameras) we’re watching this one eagerly. More details can be found here.
